About This Site

This website has been created after spending some time in the uk.rec.video.digital newsgroup reading both questions and their answers posted there - and sometimes contributing to the answers and the discussions that often result.

I make no bones about it - the content of this site is my opinion, coupled with some "how-to-do-it" features.

Because the particular way that you do something will depend on what camcorder you are using and the video editing software you are using. The new "how-to-do-it" Basics page is written in the general rather than cover a particular editor, but should help the new video enthusiast an insight. Though these pages are specific to my equipment, they should help whatever equipment/software you might have.

I am no expert - just an enthusiastic amateur. If you think that a page can be added to this site for a particular aspect of camcorder use, operation or video editing e-mail me at tonymorgan@rhylonline.com and let me know. If I have the knowledge and experience I'll try to oblige - time permitting.

If you would like to contribute an article to this site it would be welcome and I would provide a credit to you. I do however, reserve the right to edit any copy before inclusion and if I disagree with any advice of views I also reserve the right to not include the article here.
